Like a lot of people, I don’t take much notice of someone like Kenny G. His stuff is just so bland and he’s such an easy target, it hardly seems worth bothering with him. <\/p>\n
Well, apparently, he covered Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” and used at least the original vocal track in his version of it on a recent album. This caused Pat Metheny to notice him and not in a good way<\/a>.<\/p>\n I’m not a big Pat Metheny fan either. I’m of the opinion that not much decent has come out of jazz since Bitches Brew<\/u>, but it’s always funny to see one celebrity take another one down a notch.
