I blogged about the generalities over on <a href=\"http:\/\/austin.metblogs.com\/archives\/2005\/04\/flyrite_afterno.phtml\">Metroblogging<\/a>. It was the first time that either of the kids have had a chance to see me play drums. I took about a 4 year hiatus because it was just too much to be in a band and have small children. I think they really enjoyed it. It must&#8217;ve wiped out The La. She was asleep before we got halfway home and stayed that way for a couple of hours.<\/p>\n<p>I updated the &#8220;picture of the week&#8221;. The Boy&#8217;s is from yesterday. The La&#8217;s is from a couple of weeks ago when The Boy was out of town on spring break with Nana.
