{"id":567,"date":"2006-06-19T17:03:54","date_gmt":"2006-06-19T23:03:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thechunk.com\/blog\/archive\/pixars-cars\/"},"modified":"2006-06-19T17:03:54","modified_gmt":"2006-06-19T23:03:54","slug":"pixars-cars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thechunk.com\/blog\/archive\/pixars-cars\/","title":{"rendered":"Pixar&#8217;s Cars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We took the kids to see <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Cars\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pixar.com\/featurefilms\/cars\/\">Cars<\/a> yesterday at the <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Alamo Drafthouse\" href=\"http:\/\/www.drafthouse.com\">greatest movie chain on the planet<\/a>. <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Austin Chronicle Review of Cars\" href=\"http:\/\/www.austinchronicle.com\/gyrobase\/Calendar\/Film?Film=oid%3A372691\">Marrit&#8217;s review<\/a> pretty much nailed it. I&#8217;d rank it the lowest of the <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Pixar Feature Films\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pixar.com\/featurefilms\/index.html\">Pixar films to date<\/a>. I haven&#8217;t seen The Incredibles, but I&#8217;m guessing that&#8217;s better. Monsters Inc. held that spot until this one. My three-and-a-half-year-old couldn&#8217;t make it through the whole thing either. The seven-year-old managed to make it through, but also deemed it sub-par. Finding Nemo&#8217;s probably the best, although I&#8217;m partial to Bug&#8217;s Life and Toy Story as well. They showed a <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"Ratatouille Trailer\" href=\"http:\/\/thedisneyblog.typepad.com\/tdb\/2006\/06\/ratatouille_tra.html\">preview for Ratatouille<\/a> before Cars.
