The sparks <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thechunk.com\/blog\/archive\/mary-and-ann\/\">I anticipated<\/a> didn&#8217;t appear. Carlin did a long riff when he came out. It was impressive, but ultimately unsatisfying. He made a few references to religion, bombs and a slightly incorrect version of the <a title=\"European Heaven and Hell\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sucs.org\/~cmckenna\/humour\/people\/euro.html\">old european heaven and hell joke<\/a>. Coulter followed him and, other than a lame joke about the first time he&#8217;d moved to the right, he and Jay both let her spout her usual crap. She made a comment about how no one who had edited or proofread the book had any problem with the 9\/11 widows section or any other part for that matter.<\/p>\n<p>Crooks and Liars has <a title=\"Crooks and Liars\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.crooksandliars.com\/stories\/2006\/06\/15\/aWatershedMomentMediaUseCoulterToSuggestBlogsAreImpotent.html\">some post-appearance commentary<\/a> and Rude Pundit is claiming that Coulters book is <a title=\"Rude Pundit - Coulter plagiarizes\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/rudepundit.blogspot.com\/2006\/06\/why-ann-coulters-plagiarism-matters.html\">full of unattributed borrowing<\/a>. Pharyngula has a flurry of posts on Coulter, <a title=\"Pharyngula - No Quarter\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/pharyngula\/2006\/06\/no_quarter_dont_ask.php\">echoing<\/a> some of the bits in Crooks and Liars, <a title=\"Pharyngula - Coulter plagiarism\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/pharyngula\/2006\/06\/coulters_godless_as_bad_as_you.php\">mentioning the plagiarism<\/a> and <a title=\"Pharyngula - Countering Coulter\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/pharyngula\/2006\/06\/the_compleat_coulter_the_sum_t.php\">countering her views on evolution<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>[tags]anncoulter, pharyngula, plagiarism, evolution, georgecarlin, tonightshow, jayleno[\/tags]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I watched the Tonight Show last night.
