{"id":4488,"date":"2017-01-02T13:19:48","date_gmt":"2017-01-02T19:19:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thechunk.com\/blog\/?p=4488"},"modified":"2017-01-02T13:21:39","modified_gmt":"2017-01-02T19:21:39","slug":"vacation-viewing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thechunk.com\/blog\/archive\/vacation-viewing\/","title":{"rendered":"Vacation Viewing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I managed to watch quite a few things over the break, a few things in the theater and the rest either on DVD or streaming.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt3748528\">Rogue One<\/a> &#8211; Alamo South Lamar &#8211; Better than Force Awakens<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt4975722\">Moonlight<\/a> &#8211; Alamo Ritz &#8211; It was good. Maybe not as good as the reviews made it out to be, but it was very good.<\/li>\n<li>Caught up on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amc.com\/shows\/the-walking-dead\">Walking Dead<\/a> &#8211; DVR &#8211; Half season closer made up for the two throw away episodes earlier in season seven. I&#8217;m still not really liking the Neegan casting, but again, that last episode made me rethink that position.<\/li>\n<li>Continued Season 2 of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amc.com\/shows\/the-killing\">The Killing<\/a> &#8211; Netflix &#8211; This is a pretty good series. I&#8217;m invested enough to keep going. My daughter and I have been watching it.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt3152624\/\">Trainwreck<\/a> &#8211; DVD rental from Vulcan &#8211; This one is worth watching. Colin Quinn and Dave Attell steal every scene they&#8217;re in<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt3397884\">Sicario<\/a> &#8211; DVD rental from Vulcan &#8211; Wow. This one was a downer. I liked it though. Benicio Del Toro is a bad ass.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hbo.com\/documentaries\/nothing-left-unsaid-gloria-vanderbilt-and-anderson-cooper\">Nothing Left Unsaid<\/a> &#8211; spontaneous viewing on CNN &#8211; This one was really interesting. I didn&#8217;t know all of the details about Gloria Vanderbilt&#8217;s life and I had no idea that Anderson&#8217;s older brother, Carter, had committed suicide.
