It mentions <a title=\"Casino El Camino\" href=\"http:\/\/www.casinoelcamino.net\">Casino El Camino<\/a> among a few other places around town. Don&#8217;t ask me how I know that. The Wife bought it. Really.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.budgettravel.com\/bt-dyn\/content\/article\/2008\/12\/30\/AR2008123001982.html\">Budget Travel<\/a> magazine named Austin a top domestic budget travel destination for 2009 along with Washington DC and Hawaii. They cite <a href=\"http:\/\/sxsw.com\">SXSW<\/a>, <a title=\"Austin City Limits Festival\" href=\"http:\/\/www.aclfestival.com\/\">ACL<\/a> and outdoor activities as the draw.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Despite the downturn, we seem to be a travel destination of choice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Coincidentally, I noticed Austin mentioned as a travel destination in a couple of magazines over the last few weeks, so I thought I&#8217;d add to the theme of the last post.
