The Cowboy Breakfast is the traditional opener of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rodeoaustin.com\/default.php\">Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo<\/a>. I opted to sleep in and miss it, but the reports from the family afterwords made me sorry I missed it. An <a title=\"Chuck It\" href=\"http:\/\/www.austinchronicle.com\/gyrobase\/Issue\/story?oid=oid%3A262176\">Austin Chronicle article<\/a> from 2005 does a pretty good job of describing it.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s Cowboy Breakfast is this Friday from 6am to 9am. You can park at Palmer Events Center.
