They&#8217;ll make a stop in Austin at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stubbsaustin.com\/\">Stubb&#8217;s<\/a> on October 3rd. No word on tickets yet.<\/p>\n<p>On <a href=\"http:\/\/austin.metblogs.com\/archives\/2006\/05\/scratch_acid_re.phtml\">a post of mine back in May<\/a>, there was talk that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.southern.com\/southern\/band\/SCRAT\/\">Scratch Acid<\/a> might do a show at Emo&#8217;s in September as a warm up for the Touch N Go 25th Anniversary shows in Chicago. Turns out they&#8217;ll play the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emosaustin.com\/show_detail.php?id=3428&amp;date=20060902\">Emo&#8217;s 14th Anniversary Show<\/a> on Saturday, September 2nd with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gorchrock.com\/\">Gorch Fock<\/a> opening.<\/p>\n<p>As if all of this weren&#8217;t enough, in the course of trying to find out when the Alice In Chains tickets would go on sale, I discovered that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mastodonrocks.com\/\">Mastodon<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/mastodon.frontgatetickets.com\/choose.php?pl=295&amp;lid=6579&amp;eid=9318\">will be playing Emo&#8217;s on October 4th<\/a>. Even worse, that&#8217;s the night after Alice In Chains and those are both weeknights. What&#8217;s an aging hardcore\/metal guy to do? Caffeine.
