I conceded defeat and then disappeared for a couple of weeks. <\/p>\n
We did quite a lot while I was absent. We lost ourselves in gift<\/a> mania<\/a> (including an incredibly kick-ass gift<\/a> from my sister which also included<\/a> every<\/a> single<\/a> currently<\/a> available<\/a> release<\/a> other<\/a> than<\/a> the two I can already get here transported with her in a carry-on). We travelled to Dallas. We attended New Year’s<\/a> parties<\/a>. We saw some<\/a> movies<\/a>. We counted ourselves very lucky for our continued health and prosperity and decided to share it<\/a> with those who weren’t so lucky<\/a>.<\/p>\n I’ve got a ton of stuff that I want to post about, but don’t have time at the moment.
