    I’m using OpenWRT on my gateway router.

    The main thing I’m using it for is to split the wireless and wired Ethernets onto separate VLANs (normally they are combined into one). I do this so I can open my wireless but keep the overall network secured.

    I also do some dynamic DNS stuff so I can access my network remotely: http://www.unicom.com/sw/web-nsupdate/
