This stuff annoys me when the weekly free iTunes downloads are released. There’s usually one or two listed from the other stores and I can’t have them. 🙁
The 20th of this month was my 5 year blogaversary. The first post was January 20th 2002. I’m on my third hosting provider and my second blogging platform since that time. I’m still at the same company and the nearly three-year-old who was driving me insane at that time will be 8 tomorrow.

Now that we’ve got two shuffles and an iPod in the house and I use iTunes at work for podcasts and a few other things and we have it installed on at least one machine at home, I need to get more conversant in how to share iTunes across more than one PC an

I linked the Mahablog commentary on this as well, but here’s the Paul Krugman original op-ed this week on the Bush healthcare push that’s to be unveiled in the State of the Union tomorrow night.

FronteraFest 2007 and St. Nicholas
FronteraFest 2007 kicked off last Thursday, a couple of days late due to the ice storm that hit early last week. KUT had a report on the festival on opening day.
You can check out all the details on their site, but here’s a quick rundown. The 14th annual fringe theater event is grouped into three sections:
- The Short Fringe (25 minutes or less) at Hyde Park Theater
- The Long Fringe (90 minutes or less) at Blue Theater and City Theatre
- Mi Casa Es Su Teatro (site specific productions around town
The festival runs into February with the Short Fringe performances judged each week and culminating in a Best of the Fest week at the end.
I’m going to check out St. Nicholas, an entry in the Long Fringe. It’s written by Conor McPherson and performed by Ken Webster. Performances are Wednesday, Jan. 24th at 7pm, Sunday, Jan. 28th at noon, Friday, Feb. 2nd at 10:45pm and Saturday, Feb. 3rd at 8:15pm at The City Theatre, 3823 Airport Blvd. Suite D. Ken performed this piece last fall at Hyde Park Theater, you can check out the page from those performances and some links to reviews here.
