A new morning routine has started taking me past the pictured billboard out on FM 969 east of 183. I’ve been wondering what the hell it was about for the past couple of weeks and finally decided to take a picture and look it up. You can get most of the story from the NY Times (usual newspaper registration disclaimer, bugmenot, blah). I’m not going to get into the politics, but I find it interesting that they’re singling out ConocoPhillips and not Halliburton since Halliburton is also involved in the same suit that’s got the NRA printing up these billboards. I also find it interesting that the billboard is so far out of town.
